Olympic Solidarity.

Olympic Solidarity is an IOC program whose aim to redistribute part of resources generated by the Olympic Games to the NOCs for athletes’ development worldwide to makes sure promising young athletes have an appropriate condition to train in their country, have access to scholarship and training center, allowing them to preparing for their next national championships and travel to the Olympic qualification events. To make sure coaches have necessary training to lead young promising athletes to success. To make sure the director of national federations have the tools that they need to improve their skills and continue to develop the sports in their country.

The aim of Olympic Solidarity is to provide assistance to NOCs for athlete development programmes, in particular those which have the greatest need of it. This assistance takes the form of programmes elaborated jointly by the IOC and NOCs, with the technical assistance of the IFs, if necessary.
