The Indonesian Olympic Committee organized the appreciation day for athletes and stakeholders at NOC Indonesia Headquarters on Monday.
The Committee accommodated third parties who wanted to give bonuses for Indonesian athletes competing in the Tokyo 2020 Games while providing a token of appreciation to all stakeholders who supported Tim Indonesia during the Games.
President of NOC Indonesia Raja Sapta Oktohari said the achievement was made because of unwavering support from all stakeholders, and teamwork made a dream work.
"We couldn't achieve all of these without support from all of you. We had to weather the most demanding Olympic Games in history, the Games during the Covid-19 pandemic. We made it through all of these, and thank God we managed to maintain our gold medal tradition in Tokyo," Okto said.
"On behalf of NOC Indonesia and myself, I appreciate your recognition and support to us. Until today, we have received requests from many companies who want to give tokens of appreciation to athletes and officials. I hope this could inspire and motivate people during the pandemic while also encouraging other athletes to train harder to qualify to the Olympic Games."
NOC Indonesia would like to thank all sponsors who have supported Tim Indonesia during the Tokyo 2020 Games - Li Ning, Wall's, J99 Corp, Oakley, Pocari Sweat, Sate Khas Senayan, Bags City, Japan Airlines, Evo Masker, Plataran Tokyo, Diplomat Tailor, LKBN Antara, RRI, and Metro TV.

NOC Indonesia would also show its gratitude to all institution that provided assistance to Tim Indonesia during the Games - Sports and Youth Ministry, SOEs Ministry, Indonesian Embassy for Japan Empire, General Consulate of Republic of Indonesia in Osaka, Angkasa Pura II, Gapura Angkasa, KPU Bea dan Cukai Soekarno-Hatta, Satgas Covid-19, KKP Soekarno-Hatta, and Regional Airport Authority.
