Information

Archery first appeared in the Olympic Games in 1900, and then again in 1904, 1908 and 1920. Since 1972, it has remain in the Olympics programme. 16 Olympians competed in the 1900 Olympics event. Donald Djatunas Pandiangan was the first Indonesian archer to compete in the Olympics (1976 Olympic Games in Montreal) and helped Nurfitriyana Saiman, Kusuma Wardhani and Lilies Handayani take silver medal in the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.
